The geographical data that I used for this project was primarily acquired in two ways:
 

1) From preexisting data layers in Idrisi32 format from the SFU SIS server (S:\355-data\Data\gvrd)
 

2) From LandData BC.

- I found this challenging because an  formal email must be sent to Barry Carman  requesting the map products I required. In addition, the email I sent to Barry must  include a brief description of the nature of this project and  indicate who will be responsible for the data and how it will be used (educational/research/teaching).

the following technical information must also also included:

1) LandData BC Account: SFU Geography (Jasper Stoodley)
2) Product(s) Required: (e.g. TRIM Digital Elevation Model)
3) Required Map Sheets: (e.g. 092G.015, 092G.016)

Note: In the past that Barry has rejected data request to those students who do not adhere to be guidelines needed to be followed in order to acquire digital data from LandData BC.
